Police force is playing the role of frontline force for public protection and establishment of peace: IG Police Balochistan

Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, has said that Balochistan Police is an organized and disciplined force which is playing the role of a frontline force in protecting the lives and property of the people, maintaining peace, and taking effective actions against terrorism and criminal elements.
He was addressing a Police Darbar in Quetta.
The IG Police Balochistan said that the unparalleled sacrifices of police officers and personnel during the performance of their duties are unforgettable, and the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be viewed with respect and honor. The officers and jawans of the police force are performing their duties with full responsibility, dedication and professional commitment despite difficult and challenging conditions.
He said that modern equipment, resources and facilities are being utilized to make the policing system compatible with contemporary requirements and more effective. Special importance is being given to providing training on modern lines to enhance the professional capabilities of police officers and jawans, and the promises made in this regard are being fulfilled.
IG Muhammad Tahir stated that effective measures are underway for the welfare of the police force. The force is being equipped with necessary equipment for modern policing, including nearly 200 armed vehicles, more than 800 motorcycles, and modern and effective weapons.
He said, thanks to Allah Almighty, the process of fulfilling the promises made to officers and jawans in the last police darbar is gradually continuing. We have reiterated our resolve that the continuity of measures to further strengthen the professional capabilities of the police force, promote modern policing, and for the welfare of officers and jawans will be maintained.
At the end of the darbar, the IG Police Balochistan listened to the problems of the personnel individually and issued orders on the spot for their personal issues, while also issued orders for solarization of the tube-well system of the Police Lines.
