Four-and-a-Half-Year-Old Road Dispute Amicably in Attock

ATTOCK: A four-and-a-half-year-old dispute over a passage in Ganda Kas village, Union Council Kamrial, tehsil Pindi Gheb, has been resolved amicably following efforts by former Federal Secretary Khalid Sultan and Malik Abdullah Khan Kamrial.

The dispute involved Saeen Zamar Khan, son of Hayat Muhammad, and brothers Mudassar Hussain and Ishtiaq Hussain, sons of the late Master Manawar Hussain, all residents of Ganda Kas. The parties had been at odds over the use of a passage for several years.

Through the sincere efforts and mediation of former Federal Secretary Khalid Sultan and Malik Abdullah Khan Kamrial, both sides reached an agreement through mutual understanding and consent.

The parties acknowledged each other’s positions and agreed to bring the longstanding dispute to an end peacefully.

Local elders appreciated the efforts of Khalid Sultan and Malik Abdullah Khan Kamrial, saying that resolving disputes through dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding at the local level plays an important role in promoting peace, harmony and brotherhood in society.

Both parties also expressed satisfaction over the amicable settlement of the longstanding dispute.
