Pakistan and Russian Navies Conduct Joint Exercise “Arabian Monsoon VI” in Arabian Sea

The bilateral naval exercise Arabian Monsoon VI was conducted in the Arabian Sea between the Pakistan Navy and the Russian Navy. The exercise featured participation from Russian naval ships, various assets of the Pakistan Navy, and fighter jets of the Pakistan Air Force.

The primary objective of the exercise was to enhance mutual cooperation and demonstrate a joint commitment to tackling maritime security threats.

During the visit of Russian naval ships to Karachi, bilateral ship visits, harbor drills, and tabletop discussions were also conducted. Additionally, Russian naval delegates held meetings with senior officials of the Pakistan Navy.

The joint maritime exercises underscore the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to ensuring regional maritime security and strengthening international naval cooperation.
