Major Operation Against Corruption in Chaman Police, Several Officers Suspended, Inquiry Initiated – Eitezaz Arif

Superintendent of Police District Chaman, Eitezaz Arif, taking immediate and strict notice of public complaints, has taken major action against police officers and personnel involved in corruption and extortion.
According to sources, taking immediate action on complaints received from the public, several officers and personnel including the In-charge Holding Centre, In-charge Master Plan, and In-charge Khojak Top have been suspended from their posts.
A formal departmental inquiry has been initiated against all the suspended officers and personnel. During the inquiry, the allegations against them will be thoroughly investigated and charge sheets will also be issued.
On this occasion, SP Chaman Eitezaz Arif took a firm stance and made it clear that “Corruption, extortion, and misuse of authority in the police force will not be tolerated under any circumstances.”
He further said that every public complaint will be acted upon without discrimination and on the basis of merit, so that the atmosphere of trust between the police and the public can be further strengthened and stabilized.
This step by the SP has been highly appreciated in public circles and is being described as an important step towards the supremacy of law in Chaman.
