The funeral prayer of Balaj Shafqat, a prominent businessman associated with the mobile phone trade, was offered at the Central Eidgah in Attock.

A large number of people, including members of the business community, journalists, lawyers, police officials, and hundreds of local citizens, attended the funeral prayer.

Balaj Shafqat had sustained critical injuries in a gas leakage explosion in Mohalla Shahabad last week. He was initially treated at DHQ Hospital Attock and was later shifted to PIMS Hospital in Islamabad in critical condition.

Unfortunately, Balaj Shafqat succumbed to his injuries and passed away last night.

The deceased was also known for providing employment opportunities to several young people. His death has been widely mourned by the local business community and citizens.
