Pakistan Journalists Forum Pays Tribute to the Late Cricket Promoter’s Outstanding Services to the Community

The Saudi Arabian cricket community and Pakistani expatriate community are mourning the passing of Abdul Qadeer Mirza, a dedicated promoter of cricket who devoted many years to the development and promotion of the sport in the Kingdom. He passed away in Pakistan. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
Abdul Qadeer Mirza made lasting contributions to cricket in Saudi Arabia through his association with RCA and RCL. His dedication, sincerity and passion for the sport earned him the respect and affection of cricket enthusiasts and members of the wider community.

The late Mirza was also the maternal uncle of prominent Saudi Arabia-based personality Nosheen Wasim.

The Pakistan Journalists Forum expressed its heartfelt condolences to Nosheen Wasim and the bereaved family. Forum members paid tribute to Abdul Qadeer Mirza’s outstanding services to cricket and the community, recalling his kindness, sincerity, affection and commitment to helping others.

They said that his valuable contributions to the promotion of cricket in Saudi Arabia would always be remembered and that his legacy would continue to inspire those who knew him.

May Allah Almighty forgive the departed soul, grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give patience and strength to Nosheen Wasim and the bereaved family. Ameen.
