Important meeting on police reforms and digitalization held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, practical review of 16 modern digital apps conducted

An important meeting regarding reforms in the Balochistan Police, digitalization of various departments and effective use of modern technology was held on Friday at the Central Police Office, Quetta, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
In the meeting, Inspector General of Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir Khan and DIG Headquarters Hassan Asad Alvi gave a detailed briefing to the Chief Minister on 16 different digital apps activated by the Balochistan Police and other digital initiatives. The briefing highlighted measures taken to connect various departments of the police with the digital system, to modernize the policing process and to provide timely and effective facilities to citizens.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the practical demonstration of various digital apps regarding their functionality, practical utility and public facilitation, and obtained information from the concerned authorities about the scope of the apps and the facilities being provided to citizens.
The meeting also discussed measures to promote modern technology in the Balochistan Police system, effective use of digital facilities and to make police services more modern, efficient and public-friendly.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Home Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information and Political Affairs Shahid Rind and other senior officials.
