HOUSTON: Former Pakistan cricket captain and ICC T20 World Cup-winning skipper Younus Khan will visit Houston, Texas, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, as part of a nationwide awareness and fundraising campaign organized by Helping Hand for Relief & Development (HHRD).
The Houston program will be the final stop of HHRD’s 10-city tour across the United States, aimed at mobilizing support for the Karachi Institute of Neurological Diseases & Rehab (KIND-R)—a landmark healthcare initiative that seeks to provide advanced neurological treatment and rehabilitation services in Pakistan.
During the event, Younus Khan will meet members of the Pakistani-American community, supporters, donors, and cricket enthusiasts while highlighting the importance of expanding access to specialized neurological healthcare for patients across Pakistan.
HHRD’s KIND-R project is envisioned as one of the country’s largest centers dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of neurological disorders. The organization hopes the US tour will generate both public awareness and financial support to help bring the project closer to completion.
