Pakistan Increases Petrol Price by Rs13.18 Per Litre, Diesel Up Rs13.80

The federal government has announced a fresh increase in petroleum prices, raising the rates of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) with immediate effect for the coming week.

According to an official notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs13.18 per litre, taking the new retail price to Rs310.71 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has also been raised by Rs13.80 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs323.30 per litre.

The government said the revised prices will remain in force for the next week under the latest petroleum pricing mechanism.

The latest increase is expected to impact transportation costs, freight charges, and the prices of essential goods, as higher fuel costs often contribute to inflation across multiple sectors of the economy.
