Pakistan Consulate Toronto Commemorates First Anniversary of Marka-e-Haq

Pakistani-Canadian Community Pays Tribute to Armed Forces and Martyrs at Solemn Ceremony

Toronto, Canada:

The Consulate General of Pakistan in Toronto commemorated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq with a solemn ceremony held at the Consulate premises. Members of the Pakistani-Canadian community attended the event in large numbers.

Consul General Mr. Khalil Ahmed Bajwa paid tribute to the martyrs and ghazis and commended the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their courage and sacrifices in defense of the homeland.

In his remarks, he described Marka-e-Haq as a defining moment in Pakistan’s national journey that demonstrated the country’s resilience and steadfast resolve to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The programme featured a poetic rendition and a musical tribute presented by members of the community. A documentary on Marka-e-Haq and Bunyan-um-Marsoos was also screened, reflecting patriotism, devotion to the homeland, and the enduring spirit of the nation.

Messages from the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were also read out to the attendees during the ceremony.

The event concluded with special prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.
