RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera Leads Helmet Distribution Drive to Promote Road Safety in Faisalabad

Faisalabad: A helmet distribution camp was organized at Chenab Club Chowk on Sargodha Road as part of ongoing road safety initiatives led by Regional Police Officer RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera.

During the event, RPO Sukhera distributed free helmets among motorcyclists to encourage safe riding practices and reduce traffic-related fatalities. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rana Nasir Javed, Mian Mubeen, members of civil society, and other police officials were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the participants, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera emphasized that riding a motorcycle without a helmet poses serious risks to life. He urged citizens to prioritize their safety and strictly follow traffic rules to prevent accidents.

“Observance of traffic laws reflects a civilized society, and violations will not be tolerated,” he said, adding that wearing helmets is essential for protecting precious human lives.

He further highlighted that road safety is a shared responsibility and called upon the public to fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies. The RPO also directed authorities to intensify road safety campaigns and ensure strict enforcement of helmet usage across the city.
