A dignified annual result ceremony was held the other day at the renowned educational institution Iqra Ilmi Markaz Boys & Girls English Medium High School, Mohalla Marmalung, Chaman. The chief guest of the prestigious event was the distinguished educationist and Patron-in-Chief of Iqra Ilmi Markaz Chaman, Chaudhry Muhammad Tahir.
The ceremony was attended by parents, respected teachers, and hundreds of students. Upon the arrival of the chief guest, all participants stood up in respect and warmly welcomed him with thunderous applause. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the national anthem.
Addressing the gathering, Chaudhry Muhammad Tahir said that seeing such an academic institution on the soil of Balochistan gives him great satisfaction and peace of heart. He added that although he has been residing in Karachi for a long time, he has continuously kept a close watch on this institution. Being appointed as its Patron-in-Chief from the very beginning is a great honor for him.
He proudly mentioned that the head of the institution, Syed Sardar Muhammad Khundai, had once been his student, and he takes pride in such students. He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant success to this institution in every field and to help it achieve the noble objectives for which it was established. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the teaching staff, female staff, scholars, and all individuals serving the institution, and assured them of his prayers and support.
Highlighting the importance of respect for parents and teachers, he said that honoring them is the key through which Allah grants a successful life. Emphasizing the value of knowledge, he stated that education is the foundation of a successful life and is rightly regarded as life itself.
He further advised the children of his homeland, saying that at this stage of his life, his sincere message to boys and girls is to turn wholeheartedly towards education and lead a disciplined and respectful life by fully engaging in an academic environment, so that they may become honorable and responsible citizens of this land in the future. He added that a look at the world today shows that competition among nations is based on modern scientific advancement, and only those nations progress that give priority to education.
The ceremony was also addressed by Syed Sardar Muhammad Khondai (Head of Iqra Ilmi Markaz and senior journalist), Abdul Samad, Juma Khan,, Wakil Ahmed, and Shais.
Meanwhile, a splendid ceremony was also organized at the Iqra Ilmi Markaz Girls Section. At the conclusion of the event, the chief guest distributed prizes among the position holders of the Boys Section. A special prayer was also offered for the sister-in-law of Chaudhry Muhammad Tahir.
The event concluded in an atmosphere of pride, inspiration, and renewed commitment to education.
