Chaman is a sensitive border district, and maintaining peace there is extremely important۔ Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai.
An important meeting of the District Coordination Committee (DCC) was held in District Chaman under the joint chairmanship of Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, and Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai.
The meeting was attended by the Headquarters Chaman Scouts, Commanding Officer 40 Frontier Force (FF) Chaman, SP Chaman, Commanding Officer ISI Chaman, IW Chaman, Commanding Officer CT Chaman, Commanding Officer MI 304 Chaman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Chaman, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Chaman, Assistant Director IB Chaman, District Officer CTD Chaman, Circle Officer Special Branch Chaman, District IT Officer Chaman, along with heads of all district land departments and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the overall law and order situation in District Chaman, border security, crime prevention, intelligence sharing, public safety measures, inter-departmental coordination, and security and administrative challenges faced at the district level.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai emphasized that effective coordination and harmony among all civil and military institutions are essential in a sensitive border district like Chaman. He stressed that all institutions must work under a joint strategy to protect the lives and property of the people, ensure lasting peace, and strengthen the writ of the state.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangulzai stated that timely and effective implementation of decisions taken under the District Coordination Committee platform would be ensured. He directed all departments to perform their duties diligently and further enhance mutual cooperation for the resolution of public issues.
