Maulana Allama Pir Syed Iftikhar Haider Shah of Astana Alia Godha Hashim Shah passed away. Thousands of people attended the funeral prayers. He was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard, Godha Hashim Shah. According to the details, Pir Tariqat Rahbar Shariat Hazrat Pir Maulana Allama Syed Iftikhar Haider Shah Sahib of Astana Alia Godha Hashim Shah, brother of Syed Muhammad Iqbal Shah, Syed Imtiaz Haider Shah and Sajjada Nashin Pir Abdul Majid Shah, has passed away. His funeral prayers were offered at his ancestral home in his native village, Godha Hashim Shah, in which thousands of disciples, dignitaries, local political, social, business and religious figures participated and he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard, Godha Hashim Shah in the presence of thousands of mourners. After the funeral prayer, prayers were offered for the forgiveness and elevation of the deceased. The final rites of the deceased will be performed at the Gurdha Hashim Shah Astana today, Thursday, December 18 at 1 pm. Quran recitation, Fateha recitation, Naat recitation and speeches will be held on this occasion. Meanwhile, Bureau Chief of the daily Samaa-e-Lahore and correspondent of PTV News Mandi Bahauddin Raja Muhammad Ayub has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Pir Syed Iftikhar Haider Shah and prayed for the elevation of the deceased.
