An open court was held in the DPO Office Complaint Cell under the chairmanship of DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu. In the open court, citizens informed DPO Sahiwal about various problems, which the DP Sahiwal himself heard and issued orders to the concerned officers to resolve them on the spot. DP Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu said that timely and transparent resolution of citizens’ problems is the basic duty of the police. He added that the purpose of open courts is to strengthen trust between the public and the police and ensure prompt delivery of justice. The DP Sahiwal directed the officers to take action on the cases of the citizens according to their merits and no delay should be tolerated in resolving any complaint. The citizens who visited the open court appreciated the people-friendly attitude of the DPO Sahiwal and the steps taken to resolve the problems immediately.
