Dr. Hassan Rana, Founder and President of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Journalists Forum Pakistan, stated in his message that the Qadiani community, under the guise of religion, has been running an organized conspiratorial campaign against Islam and Muslims, marked by oppression, coercion, and injustice. According to him, reports of violations of the rights, religious freedom, and human dignity of former Qadianis (new Muslims) are deeply concerning.
Vice President Ahmad Sabir Chughtai said that the inhumane treatment of former Qadianis by the Qadiani community is no longer hidden. Incidents involving illegal occupation of property, physical violence, psychological and social pressure, and even the snatching of children have been reported, all of which constitute grave violations of human rights.
General Secretary Muhammad Mansoor Mumtaz stated that incidents of detaining and torturing former Qadianis inside the Qadiani headquarters in Chenab Nagar have also surfaced. He further emphasized that the Qadiani community and its members also target Muslims with retaliatory actions when they report the group’s illegal activities to the police or authorities. The attacks in Chishtian, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, Patoki, and Pasrur are alarming, where several Muslims were injured and multiple individuals were even killed.
Chief Legal Advisor Hafiz Musab Rasool, Advocate Supreme Court, said that on Human Rights Day, the international community, the United Nations, and global human rights organizations must immediately take notice of the ongoing oppression, coercion, and serious human rights violations committed by the Qadiani community. He demanded that the Qadiani community and its leader, Mirza Masroor, be brought before the law and that full protection be provided to new Muslims and other affected individuals.
The office-bearers of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Journalists Forum Pakistan jointly urged the Government of Pakistan and relevant authorities to immediately halt all illegal activities of the Qadiani community and ensure their strict compliance with the Constitution and laws of Pakistan.
