Faisalabad: An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Capt (R) Nadeem Nisar regarding the “Suthra Punjab” initiative. The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters), Assistant Commissioners, FWMC officials, and representatives of other relevant departments.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the city’s cleanliness operation must not slow down under any circumstances. He ordered the immediate transfer of the complaints monitoring system to the control room and directed strict daily monitoring of field reports, data uploading, and all sanitation-related activities.
He instructed the Assistant Commissioners to inspect junk sites regularly and ensure prompt field visits. He said that the presence of garbage piles anywhere in the city is unacceptable; therefore, all relevant staff must upload daily photographs to the portal as proof of cleanliness work.
The Deputy Commissioner added that keeping Faisalabad clean is a top priority of the district administration, and no negligence or laxity in sanitation duties will be tolerated. He further directed the FWMC and Assistant Commissioners to intensify the ongoing cleanliness operations.
In conclusion, the Deputy Commissioner urged all departments to perform their duties with full commitment and energy to provide citizens with a cleaner and healthier environment.
