Faisalabad: The Punjab Council of Arts, Faisalabad Division, in collaboration with the Art & Design Department of Government College Women University Faisalabad, organized an art exhibition titled “We Are the Light (Roshni) Too.” The exhibition featured creative artworks produced by the department’s alumni students.
The showcased pieces highlighted various social themes, aiming to bring attention to societal issues through art while promoting the artistic skills of the participating students. The group show was curated by Assistant Professor Zain Manzoor from the Art & Design Department.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar and Vice Chancellor GC Women University, Professor Dr. Kanwal Ameen. A large number of faculty members, students, and citizens attended the event.
Commissioner Faisalabad emphasized the importance of such exhibitions, stating that they should continue on a regular basis as they play a vital role in nurturing creative talent and raising social awareness through art.
