Faisalabad: Under the special directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar, a vigorous anti-narcotics campaign continues across the district. Police teams, during extensive operations in various police station jurisdictions, arrested 24 notorious drug dealers involved in supplying narcotics across Faisalabad.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Noman, Rashid, Asif, Farhan, Imtiaz, Amanat, Rehan, and others. According to police officials, a substantial quantity of drugs was seized from their possession, including 14.840 kilograms of hashish, 6.520 kilograms of heroin, and 193 liters of liquor, all of which have been taken into custody for forensic examination.
Cases have been registered against the accused under the Narcotics Act, and investigations have begun to trace their supply chain and backtrack the sources involved in the drug network.
CPO Faisalabad Sahibzada Bilal Umar said that the investigation is being carried out professionally to ensure strict punishment for the arrested individuals. He reiterated that there will be zero tolerance for drug dealers, suppliers, and facilitators, and that the police will deal with them with an iron hand to protect the youth and maintain peace in the city.
According to police, this ongoing anti-narcotics operation is a crucial part of efforts to safeguard the community and curb the spread of drugs among the younger generation.
