Faisalabad: A review meeting on WASA’s Annual Development Programme (ADP) progress was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Nadeem Nasir. The Deputy Commissioner instructed that all development schemes under the ADP must be completed within the specified timeframe. He emphasized that strict safety measures must be ensured at all project sites and directed consultants to maintain rigorous monitoring of all schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that no manhole cover should be missing anywhere in the city and ordered that all missing covers be replaced immediately. He warned that in case of any accident caused by a missing manhole cover, strict action would be taken against the responsible officers. He added that providing citizens with quality water supply and drainage facilities is the top priority of the administration.
The meeting was attended by DMD Engineering Saqib Raza, DMD (O&M) Usman Latif, representatives of Public Health Engineering, and other officials.
