Faisalabad: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, paid an official visit to District Jhang where he reviewed policing matters and interacted with citizens. His visit began with Khuli Kacheri , held at Police Station Satellite Town, where he listened carefully to the grievances of the public. He directed prompt responsiveness, the RPO issued on-spot directives to address the issues raised by citizens. He was accompanied by District Police Officer Jhang, Captain (R) Bilal Iftikhar Kayani, who briefed him on district-level operations and current policing challenges.During the visit, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera also visited the Police Lines, where he paid tribute at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada. He honoured the sacrifices of the brave police officers who laid down their lives in the line of duty. A formal Darbar was also convened attended by SDPOs, SHOs and investigating officers. In his address, the RPO stressed the need for practical and result-oriented action against drug dealers and gamblers, declaring that cleansing the region of narcotics is one of his foremost priorities. He also made it clear that corruption would not be tolerated in any form and that strict action would be taken against all types of misconduct. The RPO emphasized professional discipline, effective service delivery and community focused policing to strengthen law and order across the region.
