Vice President Habib Bank (Retd) Chaudhry Bashir Ahmed Kahna’s brave son, Assistant Commissioner Mandi Bahauddin Adnan Bashir Warraich, District Commander Para Force Mandi Bahauddin Tabish Makmeti paid a detailed visit to the market in Mandi Bahauddin, where he reviewed the overall situation of the market, traffic flow and public convenience. On this occasion, he also met the business community and had a detailed and meaningful discussion on the issue of increasing encroachments in the city. The Assistant Commissioner gave a clear message to the traders that encroachments not only hinder public transportation but also negatively affect the beauty of the market and the business environment. The Assistant Commissioner urged the traders to voluntarily remove the illegal structures in front of their shops, items placed on the sidewalks and excess encroachments so that there is no need for any major operation. The business community also agreed with the Assistant Commissioner’s position and assured full cooperation and said that cleanliness, spacious roads and a better environment of the market will not only improve business but will also provide real convenience to the citizens. Assistant Commissioner Adnan Bashir Warraich said that the aim of the district administration is not to stop business but to improve the city, and the cooperation of the traders is very important in this regard. He further said that the rule of law will be ensured at all costs and indiscriminate action against encroachments will continue. The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere, which is expected to yield positive results in eliminating encroachments and restoring public amenities in the Committee Bazaar.
