Faisalabad: An Ardal Room session was held at the Regional Office of Punjab Highway Police in Faisalabad under the supervision of SSP Mirza Anjum Kamal, where 34 officials appeared. According to the spokesperson, Constable Muqaddas Abbas was dismissed from service due to negligence and carelessness during duty, while the services of 12 other officials were forfeited. Constables Zaheer Masih and Mujahid Iqbal also faced service forfeiture.Additionally, Lady Constables Sumaiya Batool, Nasreen, Salwa Ghaffar and Sana had their services forfeited. Eleven officials were awarded the punishment of censure, including Constables Ejaz Ahsan, Irfan, Saifullah and Zafar. Moreover, show-cause notices were issued to 10 officials after listening to their issues.
SSP Mirza Anjum Kamal stated that negligence and carelessness in duty would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He added that strict punishment and fines would be imposed for absenteeism and officials showing misconduct towards citizens would have no place in the department.
