Faisalabad: Under the leadership of Managing Director WASA Faisalabad, Sohail Qadir Cheema, the ongoing revenue recovery campaign is achieving remarkable success. During the first four months of the new financial year, a consistent rise has been witnessed in revenue recovery, while a record collection of over Rs. 400 million was achieved in October alone. Recognizing this achievement, MD WASA appreciated the performance of Deputy Managing Director (Admin) Shoaib Rasheed, Director Revenue Muhammad Iqbal Malik, Umar Iftikhar and the entire revenue staff. He stated that a special campaign had been launched against chronic defaulters and the sewerage connections of habitual non-payers were also disconnected. As a result, a large number of consumers have started paying their outstanding dues and monthly bills, which has significantly contributed to the improved revenue recovery.MD WASA further emphasized that timely payment of dues and monthly bills by consumers will strengthen WASA’s financial stability, enabling the organization to provide more effective and comprehensive sewerage and water supply services to the public.
