Toba Tek Singh: Deputy Director Population Welfare Department,Chaudhry Naeem talking to our correspondent in his office said that the Health and Population Department has established 25 Family Welfare Centers across District Toba Tek Singh to provide quality healthcare and family planning services to the public.
He stated that special “Clinic on Wheels” facilities have also been launched to serve people living in remote and rural areas, particularly in Kamalia and Gojra. These mobile clinics are helping to ensure that essential maternal and child health services along with family planning guidance, reach underserved communities at their doorstep.Chaudhry Naeem further informed that daily corner meetings and awareness sessions are being conducted in both urban and rural areas to educate families about the importance of family planning. He emphasized that these awareness activities aim to improve the health of mothers and children, reduce population pressure and promote a balanced family system.He added that the department is committed to strengthening community outreach programs and encouraging responsible parenthood. According to him, public cooperation is essential to achieve sustainable development and improve the overall quality of life in the district. 25 FWCs, 70 Marryum Nawaz Health Clinics 04 Marryum Nawaz Health Hospitals are providing family planning services free of cost. In the end, Chaudhry Naeem appealed to citizens to actively participate in awareness programs and take advantage of the free counseling and healthcare services being provided by the Population Welfare Department.
