China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, has stated that unilateral tariffs are having a negative impact on the global economy. Speaking at an event in Islamabad marking ten years since Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Pakistan, the ambassador emphasized that China will continue its economic cooperation with neighboring countries.
Despite unilateral tariffs, he said, China’s economic development remains on track. He highlighted that China’s vast market of 1.4 billion people is open to all neighboring countries, who can benefit greatly from it.
