Conference Held at OPF Islamabad in Honor of Delegation from Houston

Islamabad: A significant conference was held at the head office of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) under the chairmanship of Syed Qamar Raza, with a distinguished delegation from Houston, USA, in attendance.

The delegation was led by Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, President of the Houston-Karachi Sister Cities Association, accompanied by General Secretary Amir Zaidi and well-known social activist Tariq Hameed.

Addressing the conference, Chairman Syed Qamar Raza stated,
“Overseas Pakistanis are of utmost importance to us. Resolving their issues is our top priority. The active participation of overseas Pakistanis in the Islamabad Convention is a matter of pride for us, and we are sincerely grateful to all the guests from Houston for expressing their love for Pakistan through their presence.”

During the event, Muhammad Saeed Sheikh remarked that overseas Pakistanis are true ambassadors of the country, and such gatherings not only strengthen mutual ties but also play a positive role in Pakistan-U.S. relations.

Amir Zaidi also addressed the conference, shedding light on the challenges faced by the overseas community and offering insights into potential solutions.

At the conclusion of the conference, Chairman Syed Qamar Raza expressed gratitude to all participants and warmly welcomed the visiting delegation. During the ceremony, Muhammad Saeed Sheikh presented the “Seal of Houston” on behalf of Houston Mayor John Whitmire to Chairman Qamar Raza, which was received as a mark of honor.

The participants congratulated Chairman Qamar Raza for his efforts on behalf of the overseas community and appreciated his dedicated service.
