Ukrainians Rally Outside U.S. Embassy Ahead of Trump–Putin Summit

Kyiv — Ahead of the Alaska summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainians gathered outside the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv to highlight the plight of thousands of prisoners of war still held in Russian captivity. Demonstrators urged Washington to press Moscow for the release of detainees, carrying flags, banners, and photos of missing soldiers to draw global attention to their cause.
