Revelers hurled overripe and unusable tomatoes during Colombia’s Gran Tomatina, a three-day festival inspired by Spain’s famous La Tomatina. Around 20,000 visitors are expected to join the fun, with 45 tonnes of tomatoes set aside for the messy celebration.
