Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Launches Free Tractor Distribution and Cash Grant Scheme for Wheat Farmers

For the first time in history, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched a scheme providing 1,000 free tractors to wheat farmers, along with a cash grant of Rs 5,000 per acre. The launch event took place at the Rice Institute in Kala Shah Kaku, where Maryam Nawaz handed over the first tractor key to farmer Muhammad Akmal. Female farmer Tahira Nasreen also received a tractor key and a model was presented to her. CM Maryam Nawaz was gifted a shawl by a woman farmer. Cash grants were given to several farmers, including Rs 50,000 to Haroon Bhatti, Rs 35,000 to Ghulam Sabir, Rs 30,000 to Muhammad Nawaz, and Rs 40,000 to Muhammad Akram.
