Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Meets Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, in Tehran. The Prime Minister expressed deep respect for the Supreme Leader, calling him a prominent figure of the Muslim world and a source of guidance and leadership for the Ummah.

He briefed the Supreme Leader on recent tensions with India, highlighting New Delhi’s hegemonic and narrow-minded ambitions. He thanked the Iranian leadership for its principled support against Indian aggression.

The Prime Minister also updated Ayatollah Khamenei on efforts to strengthen Pakistan-Iran relations and praised Iran’s leadership for its foresight in advancing nuclear negotiations with the United States.

In response, the Supreme Leader commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s wise efforts for promoting regional peace and stability.
