Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh, where he was received at the airport by Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt Aamir Shoukat, and senior diplomatic officials from both countries. The Prime Minister will attend the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit aimed at securing a ceasefire in Gaza. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar are accompanying him.
Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) leader Saad Hussain Rizvi said his party is open to talks with the government. Speaking in Muridke, he confirmed the march has official permission and urged authorities to engage in dialogue to resolve differences peacefully.
The newly elected Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa urged the federal government to review its policy on Afghanistan and take all stakeholders in the province into confidence. He emphasized that a united approach is essential for regional stability and addressing cross-border challenges effectively.
