Police said they launched an operation on Monday to disperse Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) protesters. During the action, a local Station House Officer (SHO) was shot dead, while several police officers and demonstrators were reportedly injured amid the clashes.
Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) leader Saad Hussain Rizvi said his party is open to talks with the government. Speaking in Muridke, he confirmed the march has official permission and urged authorities to engage in dialogue to resolve differences peacefully.
