
PM Shehbaz Meets Bosnian Ambassador, Emphasizes Strong Bilateral Ties
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador, Emin Cohodarovic, at the Prime Minister’s House today.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina and recalled former PM Nawaz Sharif’s visits to Bosnia.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s continued support for the people of Bosnia, PM Shehbaz emphasized the immense potential to transform these friendly ties into a mutually beneficial economic partnership. He also mentioned his productive meeting with Bosnia’s Chairperson Željka Cvijanović last month during the World Government Summit in Dubai.
Ambassador Emin Cohodarovic conveyed greetings and best wishes from Bosnia’s political leadership and reiterated his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation. He also briefed the Prime Minister on ongoing initiatives and proposals to enhance ties. Additionally, he expressed Bosnia’s condolences over the Jaafar Express terrorist attack, conveying solidarity from the Bosnian people and government.
