
: Pakistan and Afghanistan Focus on Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held extensive discussions with Acting Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, covering a wide range of issues aimed at enhancing bilateral relations. The talks emphasized the need for strategies to improve cooperation in areas such as security, trade, transit, connectivity, and people-to-people contacts.
Senator Dar highlighted the critical importance of addressing security and border management issues to fully unlock the potential for regional trade and connectivity. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relations and agreed on the need for continued high-level engagement to strengthen ties between the two countries.
