Nobel Peace Prize 2025 Goes to Venezuela’s María Corina Machado; Trump Eligible Next Year

The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado. Despite calls for President Donald Trump to be recognized for brokering a historic Israel-Hamas deal, the Nobel Committee’s Jan. 31 nomination deadline means he could be considered for next year’s prize.
