Muslims Gather in Mecca for Laylat al-Qadr Prayers
Thousands of Muslims congregated at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for overnight prayers to observe Laylat al-Qadr, one of the holiest nights in Islam. Worshippers filled the sacred site, seeking blessings, forgiveness, and divine mercy on this spiritually significant occasion.
Laylat al-Qadr, known as the Night of Power, is believed to be the night when the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad. Devotees spent the night in prayer, recitation of the Quran, and supplication, as it is considered a time when prayers are most likely to be accepted.
