Met Office Dismisses Claims of Extreme Winter in Pakistan

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has rejected reports predicting an unusually harsh winter this year. It said rainfall from December to February is expected to remain normal or slightly below average. Officials clarified there is no scientific evidence of record-breaking cold, though brief cold waves may occur.
