MEDIA MATTERS STRIKES BACK: SUES ELON MUSK’S X OVER ‘ABUSIVE’ LAWSUITS

Media watchdog group Media Matters has sued Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter), accusing the platform of using “abusive, costly, and meritless” lawsuits to retaliate against its reporting on advertising practices post-Musk’s acquisition. The lawsuit claims X is attempting to silence critical journalism through legal intimidation. Musk’s platform has previously clashed with Media Matters over its investigations into ad placements alongside controversial content.
