Houston Yom-e-Pakistan Flag Hoisting Ceremony

The 85th anniversary of Pakistan Day was celebrated in Houston with national enthusiasm.

A resolution to declare March 23 as “Pakistan Day” in the United States was passed by the Texas Assembly.

The main ceremony was held at the Consulate of Pakistan in Houston, where Consul General Aftab Chaudhry hoisted the national flag to the tune of the national anthem.

The event was attended by Senator Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan, visiting from Pakistan, President of the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association Saeed Sheikh, Texas Assembly Member Dr. Suleman Lalani, and other prominent community members.
