Central leader of Almi Majlis Tahaffuz Khatm-e-Nabuwwat emphasizes safeguarding belief in Finality of Prophethood and promoting moral reform, youth guidance, and social harmony in the holy month.
Central leader of Almi Majlis Tahaffuz Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, Molana Aziz ur Rehman Sani, has said that Islam stands upon two fundamental beliefs: complete faith in the Finality of the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and belief in the life of Prophet Jesus (AS). He stated that safeguarding these beliefs is a religious obligation upon every Muslim, and the holy month of Ramazan provides an ideal opportunity to revive this awareness. He said Ramazan is a month of spiritual purification, piety and moral training. Fasting teaches patience, tolerance, self-accountability and obedience to Allah. If Muslims reform their character and conduct during this sacred month, social evils such as dishonesty, injustice and corruption can naturally decline.
He emphasized that during Ramazan, mosques become vibrant, recitation of the Holy Qur’an increases and religious gatherings are held, making it an ideal time for scholars to explain the importance of the belief in the Finality of Prophethood so that the new generation develops strong faith and ideological clarity.
Molana Aziz ur Rehman Sani said that the younger generation must be connected with religion through wisdom, compassion and modern communication tools. Special training sessions should be arranged in mosques and religious centers to help youth understand their faith and protect their beliefs.
He stated that mosques should serve not only as places of worship but also as centers of social guidance, where practical initiatives should be taken for helping the poor, moral training, strengthening family values and eliminating social evils.
He stressed that Ramazan teaches practical unity of the Muslim Ummah. Muslims who believe in one Qibla, one Qur’an and one Prophet (PBUH) must rise above differences and promote brotherhood, harmony and mutual respect.
He noted that in the age of social media, misinformation spreads rapidly; therefore, scholars and religious institutions must actively provide authentic and positive content and encourage verification before sharing information.
He further said that Ramazan is a month of sacrifice, compassion and service to humanity. Those with financial means should ensure that Zakat and charity reach deserving individuals in an organized manner so that no needy person remains deprived and the dignity of the white-collar poor is preserved.
He added that fasting is not merely abstaining from food and drink; it is training to restrain the tongue, eyes and heart from wrongdoing. If a fasting person reforms their character, society as a whole can move toward improvement.
In his concluding message, he urged the public not to limit Ramazan to rituals alone, but to bring positive change into their lives by promoting honesty, integrity, patience and compassion so that society may become a cradle of peace, brotherhood and moral awareness.
