Faisalabad: Managing Director WASA Sohail Qadir Cheema visited Jhang Road to inspect the proposed route for laying a new 72-inch pipeline and directed that the main Jhang Road must not be damaged at any stage during the installation work. He stated that a comprehensive and sustainable plan has been formulated to permanently resolve the longstanding sewerage issues of Saifabad and adjoining residential areas, under which a 72-inch diameter pipeline will be laid for the efficient disposal of sewage from Saifabad, and its route is being finalized. During the MD’s visit, Director Operations West Makhdoom Babar briefed him on the technical aspects of the pipeline project. Sohail Qadir Cheema emphasized that providing citizens with high-quality drainage facilities is a top priority, and new development schemes have been introduced for this purpose, which will be completed by the end of the next fiscal year.
