CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Attends 98th PLA Founding Day Ceremony, Reaffirms Pakistan-China “Iron-Clad Brotherhood”

General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), attended the commemoration ceremony of the 98th founding day of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of the People’s Republic of China as the Chief Guest. The event brought together a distinguished gathering of civilian and military officials, media representatives, business leaders, and civil society members, highlighting the strong and broad-based support for Pakistan-China partnership.

In his address, General Mirza extended profound felicitations to the people of China, its military leadership, and all ranks of the PLA. He lauded the PLA’s pivotal role under the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping in driving China’s remarkable development and rapid modernization. He noted that these efforts have transformed China into a key pillar of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.

The CJCSC emphasized China’s role as a stabilizing force in regional security dynamics. He underscored the enduring and time-tested “Iron-clad brotherhood” between Pakistan and China, affirming the shared resolve to broaden and deepen this unique relationship across all domains.
