Afghan Taliban Sold 500,000 U.S. Weapons to Terrorists, Claims British Media

The British media has reported that the Afghan Taliban sold approximately 500,000 weapons left behind by U.S. forces to terrorist groups. According to the report, these weapons either went missing, were sold, or were smuggled to militant organizations after the Taliban came to power.

The United Nations has also raised concerns, stating that American military equipment abandoned in Afghanistan has reached groups affiliated with al-Qaeda. A UN report reveals that these organizations now have access to advanced U.S. weaponry in the region.

Furthermore, the Taliban reportedly told a UN Security Council committee that they are unable to account for at least half of the military hardware left behind
