visited Mandi Bahauddin district accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Adeel Haider. The Provincial Secretary conducted a detailed inspection of various ongoing sewerage schemes in Tehsil Phalia under the Punjab Development Program and reviewed their progress. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) Raja Haider Abbas, Assistant Commissioner Phalia Hafiz Aftab Ashraf, and officers from relevant departments were also present on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Adeel Haider briefed the Local Government Secretary in detail regarding the ongoing sewerage schemes in Tehsil Phalia, project progress, construction quality, and the drainage facilities being provided to citizens. Secretary Local Government Zaid bin Maqsood inspected various projects on-site and inquired from relevant officers about the current status of the projects, stages of completion, and other technical matters. He directed the concerned officers to complete all ongoing development projects—including sewerage works—within the stipulated timeframe, ensure high construction standards at all costs, and pay special attention to providing citizens with improved, effective, and sustainable drainage facilities.
