War Will Continue Till The Last Terrorist, No Talks With Those Who Take Up Arms Against The State: Chief Minister Balochistan

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has said that the war in Balochistan will continue till the presence of the last terrorist, adding that the civil and military leadership is completely united and on the same page against terrorism, and there is no ambiguity or confusion in this matter.
He expressed these views on Saturday while talking to anchors of the national media and senior journalists via video link at the Chief Minister Secretariat. On this occasion, a detailed discussion was held on the overall situation of the province, law and order, development process, minerals and political affairs.
The Chief Minister said in unequivocal terms that there will be no dialogue under any circumstances with those who take up arms against the state. Security forces are performing their duties in difficult conditions and state institutions are working in complete coordination. He clarified that terrorism is not just an issue of Balochistan but of the whole of Pakistan, and joint efforts at the national level are indispensable for its eradication.
The Chief Minister said that it is not possible to control the whole of Balochistan by sitting in Quetta. If new provinces are created, they should be created on administrative grounds, not on linguistic grounds. He said he has no knowledge of any two-and-a-half-year government agreement. The decision to change the government is to be taken by the political leadership, and as long as he is in office, he will continue to serve the people.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that so far 1.1 million Afghan refugees, including other foreigners, have been sent back from Balochistan. On the issue of missing persons, he said that this issue is sometimes presented without proper context.
He said that he cannot claim to have completely eradicated corruption, but there has been a clear reduction in it compared to the past, and merit is being ensured in all government departments and educational institutions. Development projects have been completed in record time compared to the past.
Earlier, important briefings were given at the Chief Minister Secretariat by the Planning & Development, Minerals & Resources, and Home & Tribal Affairs Departments, in which the Chief Minister was briefed on the progress of the Safe City project, Provincial Action Plan, police reforms and the merger of Levies into the police force.
