Oppression at its Peak in Balochistan, Highways Unsafe, Issue is Political۔ All-Parties Conference

A joint press conference was held following an important and lengthy All-Parties consultative meeting of leaders from various political parties of Balochistan.
Addressing the press conference, the political leaders made it clear that the issue of Balochistan is purely political and must be resolved through political means. They stated that even if one hundred thousand laws are enacted to conquer Balochistan, it cannot be conquered.
They said that Balochistan has slipped out of the government’s hands and the government is only busy protecting Zarghoon Road. The peak of tyranny and oppression has been reached in the province. “If Asma Jattak joins any armed organization tomorrow, who will be responsible for it?” they questioned.
The leaders said that national highways in Balochistan have become insecure and the youth are fed up with the current system, which is an extremely dangerous situation for the province.
The leaders stated that they are political people and will continue their struggle against the government formed through “Form 47” in a political and constitutional manner.
Advising Mahmood Khan Achakzai, they said that instead of a Pashtoon National Jirga, an All-Parties Conference should be convened, as all the nations living here are facing the same difficulties, only the forms are different.
They further said that an All-Parties Conference on the issues of Balochistan will be held under the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while the third All-Parties meeting will be held on September 5th under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, in which important decisions will be taken.
The press conference was attended by Awami National Party’s provincial president Asghar Khan Achakzai, Maulana Abdul Wasey, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, ANP’s central senior vice president Dawood Khan Achakzai, provincial parliamentary leader Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, provincial general secretary Mohabbat Kaka, Ubaidullah Abid, Javed Khan Kakar, provincial vice president Jamaluddin Rishtia, Sanaullah Kakar, National Party’s Kabir Muhammad Shahi, Aslam Baloch, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s Agha Muhammad Shah, Leader of the Opposition Mir Younis Aziz Zehri, Balochistan National Party’s Akhtar Hussain Lango, Wahid Baloch, Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party’s Syed Qadir Agha, Faqir Khushhal Kasi, Isa Roshan, National Democratic Movement’s Ahmed Jan Khan, Aimal Khan Nasir, Inayat Shah, Hazara Democratic Party’s Qadir Nail, Dawood Jan and Jamaat-e-Islami’s Zahid Akhtar Jamil Mashwani, along with other leaders.
