Pakistan and Saudi Arabia agree to promote cooperation in the financial and energy sectors.

Federal Minister for Finance of Pakistan Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb held an important meeting with Saudi Minister for Finance Muhammad Al-Jadaan in Riyadh. On this occasion, Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division) of Pakistan Sardar Owais Ahmed Khan Leghari was also present. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Pakistan-Saudi Bilateral Finance Group meeting.
During the meeting, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb thanked the Saudi leadership for Pakistan’s continued support and cooperation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the strong relations between the two brotherly countries.
Both Finance Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and held a detailed discussion on new opportunities for cooperation in the finance, investment, energy and power sectors. On this occasion, Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Owais Ahmed Khan Leghari also expressed his views on joint cooperation in the energy sector and future prospects.
The parties agreed that economic cooperation between the two countries would be promoted by further expanding mutual partnership, which would lead to joint development and investment. New opportunities will arise.
This meeting reflects the strengthening economic and strategic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and is an expression of the commitment to further promote cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
