Tamgha-e-Imtiaz Conferred Upon Prominent Industrialist for Economic and Social Contributions
Faisalabad: The Government of Pakistan has announced the conferment of the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz upon renowned industrialist, prominent business leader and Chairman of the Pakistan Furniture Council Mian Muhammad Kashif Ashfaq, in recognition of his outstanding social services, humanitarian efforts and significant contributions to the national economy. His name has officially been published in a special gazette following the approval of President Asif Ali Zardari.Mian Muhammad Kashif Ashfaq will receive the distinguished civil award on March 23, Pakistan Day, during a special and dignified ceremony to be held at the Aiwan-e-Sadar in Islamabad. On this occasion, several eminent personalities from different walks of life will also be honored with national awards.Mian Muhammad Kashif Ashfaq is regarded as one of the country’s leading business figures and successful entrepreneurs. As Chairman of the Pakistan Furniture Council, he has been actively working for the growth and promotion of the furniture industry and has played a key role in introducing the sector at the international level. Under his leadership, the Pakistan Furniture Council has taken various initiatives to enhance exports, promote the use of modern technology and highlight the skills of local craftsmen.Previously, he also served as Chairman of the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Management and Development Company (FIEDMC), where he implemented significant measures to promote industrial development, attract investment, and improve the overall business environment.In addition to his professional achievements, Mian Muhammad Kashif Ashfaq has made notable contributions in the field of social welfare.
