Islamic Teachings Offer Complete Moral Code, Religious Education Obligatory for All Muslims

Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology, Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi, has stated that Islamic teachings provide a comprehensive code of moral values and guidance for human life. He emphasized that acquiring religious education according to one’s needs is obligatory for every Muslim man and woman, as it fulfills moral, social, and economic requirements.
He expressed these views while addressing the first graduation and turban-tying ceremony of Taha Academy, Mauritius, which operates under the supervision of former Darul Uloom Naeemia Lahore student, Maulana Peer Imam Hussain Lakhia. The ceremony was attended by hundreds of participants.
Dr. Naeemi remarked that Islam fundamentally teaches ethics and moral conduct. He highlighted that the Muslim community in Mauritius has played a significant role in the country’s trade and development. He further noted that through ethical conduct and effective preaching, Muslims can positively strengthen and expand their community.
Congratulating Taha Academy on its academic performance, Dr. Naeemi described it as a continuation of the educational mission of Jamia Naeemia. He announced that the academy will be formally affiliated with Jamia Naeemia, and after completing six years of study, students of Taha Academy will be eligible for admission to the prestigious Dars-e-Hadith program.
On this occasion, 25 Imams were awarded certificates and honored with the traditional turban-tying ceremony after successfully completing two years of education and training.
Maulana Imam Hussain, Maulana Shamim Khudadin, Maulana Azhar Qadri, and Mufti Ghulam Qadri Siddiqui also addressed the ceremony.
